In November, 2008, Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center in Fort Worth, Texas was proud to be a field trip site for the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) sponsored by Science Teachers of Texas (STAT), a statewide organization of teachers dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of science and education in schools.
